App lets users have second-hand sex dolls ‘warmed up’ and delivered to their door

A CHINESE sex toy manufacturer has launched a new app that allows users to rent sex dolls for up to a week, before returning them for others to enjoy.

IF you’ve been thinking about getting hold of a sex doll but you’re not ready for the commitment, this bizarre new app may be for you.

Chinese sex toy manufacturer Touch has launched an app called “Shared Girlfriend” which lets customers rent their hyper-realistic dolls for up to a week at a time, reports The Sun.

Using the app, you can customise the doll you want before reserving it for a few nights of passion.

This means choosing from a range of outfits and hairstyles, as well as kinky extras like whips and handcuffs, the Daily Star reports.

Then you can have the doll delivered to your home and even choose for your plastic lover to be “warmed up” before she arrives.

Prices start at $59 per night to rent a doll, with a full week of passion costing $250, on top of a $1,500 refundable deposit.

Once customers are done with the silicone lovers, and presumably after they’ve been thoroughly washed, other people else can use the app to borrow the same sex toys.

Describing their new app, manufacturer touch said: “With one touch of a key, you are no longer single!”

The sex toy industry is booming in China, thanks to a whopping gender imbalance caused by a historical preference for male children in the country.

With 1.15 men to every woman, it’s proving harder for Chinese men to find girlfriends so many are turning to the artificial embrace of plastic partners instead.

The “girlfriend” sharing app was launched on Thursday when it was showcased alongside a range of products made by Touch, based in the city of Xiamen in southeast China.

A doll dressed as a sailor was among the sex toys on display, with another styled like a nurse and one made to look like sword-wielding superhero Wonder Woman.

The sex toys are made to look and feel as realistic as possible and are even programmed with voices so they can respond to your touch.

The doll delivery service is currently being tested in Beijing, but Touch is keen to roll out their app nationwide.

And customers will be pleased to know that they can keep the most sensitive parts of their sex doll, for hygiene reasons.

The firm said: “It can address all the needs of single geeks.”

“Tap and it will be delivered to your door, and the single life is over for good.”
