Artist doctors images to show world leaders on the toilet
SOMETIMES it’s easy to forget that heads of state are people too. So an artist has created a set of images showing our leaders as you’ve never seen them before.
SOMETIMES it’s easy to forget that heads of state are people too.
So Italian artist Cristina Guggeri has created a set of images that shows them in a whole new light.
Her series “The Daily Duty” reveals how the world’s leaders would look on the toilet.
The hilarious images were edited using Photoshop.
Cristina, or “Krydy” doctored every picture to produce incredibly realistic visions of dignitaries on the dunny.
Her creations certainly bring these distant rulers down to earth.
Using plenty of artistic licence, Cristina has added in a suitable bathroom around them, and imagined what sort of underwear they might be wearing.
Russian president Vladimir Putin is pictured in a stark, bricked loo with a pair of checked boxers around his ankles.
The Queen sits on a second “throne” underneath a chandelier, stockings and lacy white knickers pulled down to reveal her knees.
The Pope appears to be wearing white Y-fronts, while President Barack Obama’s looks serious in stripy boxers.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s red dress matches her red bathroom and red underwear.
The Dalai Lama also chooses a red combo, although his undies are much tinier.
Ex-Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi is shown in a lurid bathroom that complements his reputation.
Let’s hope these powerful figures have a sense of humour.
