The hi-tech toothbrush that doesn’t need toothpaste
WHAT on earth would Mrs Marsh make of this? A Japanese company has come up with a high tech toothbrush that eliminates any need for toothpaste.
WHAT on earth would Mrs Marsh make of all this? A Japanese company is set to revolutionise morning grooming, with a high tech toothbrush that eliminates the need for toothpaste.
The Misoka brush is coated in tiny, nano-sized mineral ions that move in the water, removing stains and covering the teeth in a protective sheet.
When you brush, the minerals jump from the bristles to your teeth, where they stick and protect your teeth for hours after you brush.
The minerals also help the teeth cling to water more easily, ensuring the surface feels much smoother than it would after normal brushing.
The toothbrush is not the first everyday object to be transformed by nanotechnology. As the video above reveals, plans are on the way for a mico-engine that could replace batteries and recharge mobile phones in seconds.
Designed by Kosho Ueshima of Japan’s The Industrial Design Studio, the Misoka toothbrush will last for once month and will be unveiled at the Milan Design Week on Thursday.
