Salavat Fidai createsf sculptures meticulously carved into the tip of pencils

AN artist using pencils to create work is nothing new, but this Russian takes things to the next level.

THIS Russian artist doesn’t mess around when he is creating new art work, he would rather get straight to the point … literally.

Salavat Fidai is gaining recognition for his unique sculptures meticulously carved into the tip of pencils.

To create his miniature masterpieces the artist uses the glow of a single light, a craft knife and magnifying glass.

When the works are completed, Fidai photographs them with a macro lens before posting them on his Instagram feed.
