Titan Screen unveil 370 inch television screen — size of football goal
IT is the size of 16 king single beds, or in FIFA World Cup 2014 speak, the size of a football goal. Meet the 370-inch $1.8M TV set.
WHO says size does matter?
In the land of televisions it does.
Panasonic has lost its crown as the biggest with its 152-inch 4K television set.
The throne now belongs to UK company Titan Screen which has manufactured a, wait for it, 370-inch television set, known as Titan Zeus, Engadget website reported.
You could put 16 king single sized beds on the Titan Zeus screen and still have a little space to swing your legs or, as the FIFA World Cup starts in Brazil on Friday, the actual size of a football goal.
Titan says it has 4K resolution — suitable for inside and outdoor use — and has been made and sold for $1.8 million, which in itself is considerably more than twice the median price for a house in Australia — $429,000.
It is, of course, pitched at hotels and restaurants and outdoor spaces.
Titan Screen said there is no video fo the set in action as the deal was confidential.
A second Titan Zeus will be seen at Cannes, France, when it is situated on top of the city’s Le Grand Hotel, visible from the entire bay, according to Curb Media, showing the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
