Sony shames Microsoft with video detailing how to share PS4 games
FEEL the burn Microsoft. This brutally witty video from Sony, which details how to share PS4 games with friends, puts the XBox One to shame.
Feel the burn Microsoft.
Sony has taken full advantage of the backlash against Microsoft's XBox One by releasing this brutally witty video, which tells players how to share PS4 games in 16 seconds of excruciating detail.
It's a mind-numbingly complicated one-step process. You pick up the disk, give it to your friend and ... well, that's it actually.
The video was a cheeky smackdown of Microsoft, which outraged gamers with its original plans for the XBox One. The new XBox was going to require a near-constant internet connection, and any sharing of games was to be tightly restricted.
Microsoft has been shamed into action by its customers. Don Mattrick, president of the company's interactive entertainment arm, posted a statement online this week, entitled 'Your Feedback Matters', promising the unpopular features would be dumped.
But the epic 'XBox 180' degree turn came too late to stop Sony from swooping in with its knockout punch.
The video has been viewed more than 13 million times on YouTube, and tens of thousands have shared it on social media. Ironic, no?
