New store listing shows that Grand Theft Auto V could finally be coming to Xbox One and PS4
MAKERS of the smash-hit game of 2013, Grand Theft Auto V, are finally giving away some hints about when it will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
IT WAS one of the best games of 2013, but sadly Grand Theft Auto V never got a release on the Xbox One or PlayStation 4.
New evidence suggests, however, that the game will finally see its next-gen (or now current-gen) release sometime in March.
A Portuguese online store Worten recently put up a retail listing of a PlayStaton 4 copy of the game that can be preordered for €5.00.
Worten responded to an email from Eurogamer saying, “On the issue that got us, we would inform you that we have the information that Worten stores will sell the game in question,” confirming that they will indeed be selling the game.
Fans of Grand Theft Auto V have been hounding the games’ creators Rockstar for a PS4 and Xbox One version since the games release in September last year, with Rockstar refusing to say anything about the matter.
The clues have been piling up though, including another store listing last month by Czech retailer SuperGamer.cz popping up before being promptly deleted, plus the Brazilian store Nuuvem’s director has said that the game will be sold at his store from March.
The biggest hint, though comes from an AMD beta graphics card driver where a profile for GTA V was discovered in January.
Come on, Rockstar — we know it’s coming, stop making us wait.
