Ultra Reality meteor prank

You're in the middle of a job interview when you see a meteorite heading ominously for the ground. How do you react? Hilariously, that's how.

That's the premise of a new prank-themed advertisement from LG Electronics, which shows a series of would-be office workers turning up for job interviews.

The unsuspecting interviewees enter an office, sit down and start chatting to their prospective boss, behind whom is a huge TV screen displaying a city landscape.

Halfway through the interview, the screen shows a meteorite hurtling towards the city from above. The interviewees think the footage is real, so they panic. A lot of screaming, yelling and running ensues.

It's a funny prank, and it gets the message across as well. LG would have us believe the clear TV screen makes the apocalyptic vision plausible.

The company has form here. One previous commercial tricked people who were riding in an elevator into thinking the floor was falling out from underneath them. Another made men believe hot women were watching them in the bathroom.

We can't wait to see their next prank, as long as we're not on the receiving end.
