Pokemon Go’s Halloween event has fans excited
HALLOWEEN is here and, for Pokemon Go fans across the world, that means the launch of the annual Halloween event.
POKEMON GO has launched its massive Halloween-inspired event this week and fans have described it as “epic”.
The viral augmented reality game allows users to experience Pokémon in real life by walking the streets and capturing characters as they appear on their smartphone screen.
The game was release in July 2016 and has been a viral sensation ever since.
This year’s Halloween event went live at yesterday at about 7am (AEDT) and will run until 7am (AEDT) on November 1.
Featuring a brand new Generation 4 ghost Pokémon to catch as well as spooky new research tasks to complete, the game is everything a diehard Halloween fanatic would love.
According to the Pokemon Go team, “new avatar items featuring ghost-type Pokémon are now available in the style shop”.
