One Twitter mum posted a photo of her six-year-old child next to some birthday balloons and decorations. In it, he’s wearing a Minecraft-themed hat, T-shirt, and shorts.

Minecraft is one of the most popular games for kids. It allows players to create anything they want, so long as it’s made of blocks. Imagine virtual Lego and you’re not too far off.

According to the mother, she had invited his entire class of 24 children to attend, but none of them showed up.

Following the viral tweet going live, there’s been an outburst of support for little Landon. Strangers and public figures have been sending him birthday wishes via his mum’s Twitter.

Among them are developers from Mojang, the developer behind Minecraft. In the video, a group of developers shout, “Happy birthday, Landon,” while sitting on some steps in what’s presumably Mojang’s studio.

The developers are holding merch from Minecraft, including a creeper plushie, a plushie sword, and a pig teddy.

During the recent Xbox conference, Mojang revealed Minecraft Legends, a new game that adds a strategy layer to the Minecraft template.
