White iPhone 4 finally on sale after a year of delays
A WHITE version of the iPhone 4 will be released almost a year after it was originally due to go on sale.
A WHITE version of the iPhone 4 will be released almost a year after it was originally due to go on sale.
Apple said today that the white iPhone 4s would be on sale through its online store later this week, as well as at Apple Stores and authorised retailers.
The announcement comes as the company faces tough questions over its storage of location data and a denial from chief executive Steve Jobs that the electronics giant tracks its users.
Apple planned to begin selling the white iPhone along with the black model in June of last year but the release was repeatedly delayed by manufacturing challenges in a rare setback for the company.
"The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it's beautiful," Apple's senior vice president of worldwide product marketing Philip Schiller said.
"We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we've worked to get every detail right."
Apple said the white iPhone 4 would be available this week in countries included the US and Australia.
