A Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics fan has been caught capturing the funniest selfie ever.

The culprit was spotted by Russian broadcasters trying to take a picture during an ice hockey match as she sat in the stands but it appears she hasn’t mastered the art of photography as she unwittingly brings the camera to her eye the wrong way round and inadvertently snaps a cracking eyeball selfie.

While the amateur photographer may not have got the shot she wanted it has given us all a good giggle.
