GRUMPY Cat, it's been good, but there's a new kitty on the internet and he's way cute. Meet Snoopy, the latest feline to become an internet star.

GRUMPY Cat, it's been good, but there's a new kitty on the internet block and he's way cute.

Snoopy the exotic shorthair already has more than 190,000 Instagram fans and has accrued thousands of followers on the Chinese version of Twitter, Weibo.

He also has his own Facebook page, with the tag "this is the cutest cat in the entire world", which is liked by more than 7000 people - not a bad effort for a two-year-old feline.

The cute cat from Chengdu, in China's Sichuan Province, gained fame for his short snout, flat face and massive brown eyes, the Daily Mailreported.

His owner Miss Ning told Chinese website, A Pet Guide, that his droopy eyes made him constantly appear innocent and even she had been surprised by the cat's cult following.

Don't mess with Grumpy Cat, OK.

But Grumpy Cat - real name Tardar Sauce - doesn't need to be too worried about the competition. He has an endorsement deal and was just last month named the "spokescat" for a Friskies brand of cat food.

And we are pretty sure Snoopy won't get anywhere near the reaction from Today host Karl Stefanovic who broke out in fits of laughter after interviewing the popular Grumpy Cat.
