Samsung announces Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, a cheap tablet for everyone

SAMSUNG is releasing yet another Android tablet for the budget conscious consumer; a 7-inch tablet named the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.

While the spec sheet doesn't shine with desire, it packs specs that are adequate for the casual user, it comes in either black or white with 7-inch 1024x600 resolution display, dual core processor and 8GB of internal storage, which you can expand with a microSD card.

The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is also featuring an older version of Android's Jellybean and has a 2 megapixel camera to highlight that this is definitely aimed at the cheaper end of the market.

There's been no word yet on Australian release date or price, but we expect it to be less than $200.
