BACK in the 80s Apple was looking at ways to build its brand and decided to launch a fashion label. It didn’t work, but made for some great pictures.
THERE is no denying Apple is a hugely successful company, but sometimes its products miss the mark.
One only has to look a product range released by Apple in 1986 to see an example of some of the company’s more ill-fated ideas.
Just one year after Steve Jobs resigned as chairman, the company decided to test the loyalty of its customers with the launch of The Apple Collection — a line of clothing, accessories and lifestyle items all covered with tech giant’s branding.
In addition to some stylish threads, the original Apple Watch also made an appearance.
