Sibling hilariously trolls thief who took sister’s phone

A BROTHER decided to have a little fun with the stranger who took his little sister’s phone. The result was unexpected.

You couldn’t make this up!

Losing your phone or having it stolen isn’t usually much fun ... but it can be!

After his little sister’s iPhone went missing, imgur user thelowflyingowl decided it would be entertaining to taunt the person whose hands it had fallen into, reports Kidspot.

His sister, a high school student in the US, worked hard over summer to buy an iPhone only to have it stolen or fall out of her boyfriend’s car.

Unfortunately, she hadn’t activated the find my phone app, so she reported it stolen. She had also bought a wallet case and lost her debit card and ID as well.

LET THE FUN BEGIN!

When they got a text message from a strange number, the sibling rang their sister to check it wasn’t her. It soon became clear someone was fishing through her contacts to try to get her password.

“I was bored so I say to myself, why not have some fun,” the user wrote.

“We will never get the phone back, but what the heck, might as well kill some time.”

In the ensuing message exchanges, the loyal sibling warns of a scary boss, saying “you know how fast he can track you down”.

BEWARE OF THE BAD MAN

There are also references to a mystery suitcase that needs to be buried and warnings of “a very serious bad man” who can track down the phone.

“You know what happened to Vince,” they caution.

THE CUNNING PLAN WORKED!

“Really?” the thief replies.

Eventually, it works.

The phone was anonymously handed in to a police station, as was suggested for the thief’s safety.

HANG ON ... DID THIS REALLY HAPPEN??

Some people have expressed scepticism at the story, but lowflyingowl swears it is 100 per cent true.

“Dude, I would not believe it if I were you either,” they replied to one comment. “Can’t make this shit up.”
