Canadian bobsledder Heather Moyse takes a bath in a Sochi garbage bin

CANADIAN bobsledder Heather Moyse wanted to take a bath in Sochi, but she couldn’t find a tub. So she switched to an interesting backup plan and shared it with the internet.

We have to confess, we’re not sold on this idea.
We have to confess, we’re not sold on this idea.

CANADIAN bobsledder Heather Moyse wanted to take a bath.

An Epsom salt bath, to be specific. Many athletes use Epsom salt to help their bodies recover quickly after a day of competition.

There was only one problem. Moyse couldn’t find a bathtub anywhere in Sochi.

Faced with this harsh reality, the athlete switched to a backup plan. She filled a garbage bin with hot water and Epsom salt, then jumped in.

We’re not sure that was the most hygienic option, and we’ve never seen anyone bathe with clothes and a beanie on, but who are we to question the judgment of a former gold medallist?

Moyse also plays rugby, soccer and track. She’s a busy athlete, so if she wants an Epsom salt bath, she gets one. Those are the rules.

No bath tubs in the Mountain Village... So just chillin' in a garbage bin doing a hot Epsom salt 'bath'! #NoExcuses pic.twitter.com/HwdyaPUO7K
