MARK Hunt may be 40-years-old but he insists he is only getting better in the Octagon.
After losing his title fight by KO to Fabricio Werdum, last November, Hunt will take on Stipe Miocic in the main event at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre — where the UFC will host its first show in Adelaide on May 10.
It is an opportunity Hunt cannot wait to take on.
“I’m one of the greatest fighters on this planet,” Hunt said.
“I’m like a fine wine baby, I just get better with age.”
Hunt says his upcoming fight is a great opportunity for him to headline the event.
And with both men coming off losses, Hunt says he wants to press his claims for the title.
“Stipe is number four and I’m number five so we are both looking to get ahead,” Hunt said.
“I have the fire power to beat anyone. It is where the big boys play around. I call it playing. It is all fun and games until someone starts crying.
“Come fight night Mark Hunt is walking out with the ‘W’.”
