UFC star Conor McGregor reads mean tweets

WATCH the fastest rising star in the UFC destroy troll after troll as he reads out a series of nasty Twitter comments.

CONOR McGregor has built a reputation as having one of the sharpest tongues and quickest wits in world sport during his run as a UFC contender.

He proved it again when asked by BT Sport to read a series of mean tweets posted about him during a promotional tour for his July 11 fight at UFC 189 against featherweight champion Jose Aldo.

McGregor had some advice for this mean tweeter: ‘Squats’

After reading one tweet which said “Actually hate Conor McGregor so much”, the Irish fighter clicked on the user’s profile and zoomed in on what he felt was her flat backside.

“Look at the length of that back! Look how long her back is! Where’s the ass? What the f*** is that? Look at that! What the f***? That’s not right. Can you see that through the camera? That’s not right! Is it? My God it’s the longest back I’ve ever seen,” McGregor said.

After another tweeter compared him poorly to Nicki Byrne, McGregor leapt to the defence of the Irish boy band member.

“Who’s Nicki, the man from Westlife? Oh, he’s all right,” he said.

But he saved his best for a man who compared him to another UFC loudmouth, former middleweight contender Chael Sonnen.

“Say what you want of me, I’m bulletproof. And if you’re in this game, you must be bulletproof. That’s probably not that far off, I do believe what I say. It’s that simple,” McGregor said.

While he may have agreed with the sentiment of the tweet, McGregor wasn’t about to let the mean tweeter of easily.

Once again McGregor zoomed in on the user’s profile, revealing a group of “lads”.

“Virgins, every one of them,” he declared.

‘The laaaads’

As mean as the tweets were, McGregor remained unphased, even thanking his trolls.

“Thank you everybody, I enjoyed reading your mean tweets. I will wipe my tears with my money and carry on,” he said.

Judging by this image, he won’t be short on cash.
