ONLY a month after becoming a Youtube sensation, adopted Aussie fighter Ben Nguyen has been signed by the UFC.

The Daily Telegraph can reveal 26-year-old flyweight Nguyen, who emigrated Down Under two years ago, has agreed to fight on the UFC Adelaide card in May where he will meet Alptekin Ozkilic.

The decision comes only weeks after the American native became a social media hit thanks to his starring role in a homemade video entitled: ‘Tattooed Bully Acts Tough And Gets Knocked Out in 20 Seconds”.

The clip shows Nguyen, at the weigh-in for a 2014 Nitro fight, being continually pushed and shoved around by a heavily inked rival. The film then switches to fight night ... and the Brisbane resident knocking his rival out in 20 seconds.

Uploaded at the beginning of March this year, the video has since been viewed more than seven million times.

Fighting professional since 2006, Nguyen will now make his UFC debut on a strong local card set to be headlined by heavyweight Sydneysider Mark Hunt and American Stipe Miocic.

It’s understood that if Hunt wins, he will be catapulted into another world title fight -- which will form part of a blockbuster UFC 193 card in Melbourne this November.

Hailing from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Nguyen was living and training out of Thailand several years ago when he met an Australian girl. He subsequently followed her to Brisbane, and now calls Queensland home.
