A UFC fan was brutally knocked out in a wild brawl during a Mexico City Fight Night in scenes that left UFC boss Dana White stunned.

A UFC fan was knocked out after getting into a fight with a fellow spectator at UFC Fight Night in Mexico City.

The NY Post reports the action at Saturday’s Fight Night at Arena CDMX spilled into the crowd, and fans in one section got into an all-out brawl.

A mosh pit took over one of the sections as the fans traded punches while grabbing at each other’s clothing.

A clip of the incident shows multiple groups squaring off with no security in sight to immediately stop the fighting.

In the middle of the fighting, one fan was throwing punches at two people before backing off.

A fan directly to his left, though, wasn’t done and hit him across the face with a vicious left hook, knocking him out.

UFC president Dana White was surprised security didn’t step in to try and break up the melee and didn’t think it made the UFC look bad.

“The crazy thing about that fight [is], when that fight broke out, it felt like it kept going forever,” he said.

“I ran over there and I was watching it. Nobody stopped it. I was waiting for security to come in. They just let ’em go until it was over. That’s one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen.

“I don’t think it’s a bad look for the UFC. It happened and that was the end of that. I think after everybody else saw that s***, nobody else wanted to try that again.

“No security. The fight just went on until the fight was over. I’ve never seen any s*** like that in my life. Crazy.”

UFC commentator Ariel Helwani described it as a scene from a horror movie.

“There’s been fights at fights before but never seen anything like this,” he posted on Twitter.

“The part at the end with all of them standing there, clothes ripped makes it seem like a scene from a zombie apocalypse movie.”

The UFC event in Mexico featured two of Mexico’s former UFC champions at the top of the bill.

The headline of the event was former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno against Brandon Royval, who won via split decision in a rematch of their 2020 fight.

Former interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez fought Brian Ortega as well, losing by submission in Round 3, a rematch of their 2022 bout, which Rodriguez won by TKO.

The UFC also opened a Performance Institute this week in Mexico City, a state-of-the-art facility that has a weight room, grappling floor, nutrition lab, and physical therapy.

“This has been a dream and goal of mine since 2001. To finally be here and walk the halls of the UFC Performance Institute in Mexico City is a monumental moment in the history of our sport,” White said.

“The impact this facility will have on Mexico, as well as both Central and South America will be massive.”
