MMA star Conor McGregor’s migrant comments spark anger
Conor McGregor has been accused of fanning the flames after thugs attacked police and set buildings and vehicles on fire in Dublin.
Conor McGregor has been slammed after warning of “grave danger in Ireland” following riots which broke out in Dublin last night.
Chaos erupted in the Irish capital fuelled by unconfirmed rumours about the nationality of an alleged knifeman after three children and a creche worker were stabbed.
Police have arrested 34 people after violent groups rushed through the streets, fighting cops, setting vehicles and businesses alight, and looting stores, The Sun reports.
It comes after a boy and two girls, all under the age of six, were knifed in the city’s centre at midday yesterday.
The youngsters’ carer, a woman in her 30s, was also injured along with a man in his 50s before a brave have-a-go hero tackled the attacker.
Despicable scenes last night in Dublin City centre. People looting shops amidst the anger and rage Ireland has for the many failed policies of government. Has this regime ever had even one successful policy? Health service in shambles. Abominable housing crisis. Immigration wide⦠pic.twitter.com/7BgRKVcbEd

The chief suspect is understood to be a naturalised Irish citizen, who has lived there in the region for 20 years, The Irish Times reports.
Now MMA star McGregor has been slammed after he went on an online rant about the horror events.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, he urged Ireland to “make change or make way” in what some have criticised as being seen as inflammatory towards immigration.
He said: “Innocent children ruthlessly stabbed by a mentally deranged non-national in Dublin, Ireland today. There is grave danger among us in Ireland that should never be here in the first place, and there has been zero action done to support the public in any way, shape or form with this frightening fact.”
“NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Make change or make way. Ireland for the victory. God bless those attacked today, we pray.”
Horrified fans rushed to condemn his statement.
One person described the tweets as “bizarre” as they were posted during the riots to McGregor’s 10 million followers
Another said McGregor has been posting to his fanbase “for a long time with conspiracies and anti-immigrant bulls**t.”
