The loved up stars set tongues wagging when Badosa was sighted trying to hide in the stands as Tsitsipas took on world number one Carlos Alcaraz.

Things however between the pair have reached absurd speeds with the Spanish 25-year-old spilling the beans during a post match press conference.

Badosa fronted the media and didn’t shy away from revealing an explicit incident that happened long before the two became official.

“I was injured in Australia. I watched his match, the final (the Australian Open final between Tsitsipas and Djokovic). Of course, I had jet lag because I was in Spain,” Badosa said.

“I decided to watch that match. Surprising, because I never dream about tennis players, but I dreamt about him that night, that we were both winning Australian Open.

“Then it was like we were having a very romantic moment, but I’m not going to explain. I’m just going to leave it there.”

Tsitsipas endured a tough first-round match against Dominic Thiem, fighting back to win in five-sets in the most nerve-racking margin imaginable. The final set went to a tiebreak, which he claimed 10-8.

The score there: 3-6 7-6 6-2 6-7 7-6. An almighty scare for one of the few men capable of challenging Djokovic for the title.

There was a lighthearted moment during Tsitsipas’ post-match interview, as it was brought to his attention that Badosa had been in the crowd watching (after winning her own first-round match).

“Oh! I just found out. I had no idea. Congratulations!” he told her.

Badosa had earlier been seen watching on nervously as the match headed deep into the fifth set.

She was beaming with joy and was a bit flustered by the attention when the interviewer asked her boyfriend about her result.

The Greek star remains locked in a heated battle second round battle with Andy Murray after play was suspended thanks to rain.

The Scot was within touching distance of the Wimbledon third round on Friday morning when he opened up a two sets to one lead over the world number five.

British two-time champion Murray lost the first set of a high-class contest but roared back to lead 6-7 (3/7), 7-6 (7/2), 6-4 when the Centre Court duel was halted just before the All England Club curfew of 11pm.

The suspension came at the right moment for the 36-year-old as he fell and hurt his left groin, leaving him screaming in pain.

His face — and body — said a thousand words.
