Check out their best and value bets:

THE VALLEY

BRAD WATERS (Racenet) Form: 11133

STARRY LEGEND (Race 2, No.10 – $3.10)

Impressive three-year-old building an excellent record. He resumed with a strong Mornington win last month and will be hard to catch again from the perfect draw.

Value bet: STATE OF REST (Race 9, No.8 – $12)

GILBERT GARDINER (Herald Sun) Form: 32541

ZAAKI (Race 9, No.1 – $2.80)

Not one to take favourites often but Zaaki nudging $3 is a gift.

Value bet: EMBOLISM (Race 6, No.8 – $7)

CHRIS VERNUCCIO (Racing News Editor) Form: 11111

FLOATING ARTIST (Race 8, No.12 — $3.30)

Wasn’t ridden to his strengths in the Coongy Stakes which left him a sitting shot, he should be allowed to roll along here and is probably looking for the extra distance as well.

Value bet: ANAMOE (Race 9, No.9 – $4.20)

GLENN McFARLANE (Herald Sun) Form: 21211

FORGOT YOU (Race 7, No.1 – $1.95)

Charged to the line in the Guineas with the look of a 2040m horse and has won his two starts here.

Value bet: NEW YORK BABY (Race 3, No. 2 – $4)

SIMON MOY (NewsRacing) Form: 820s1

ANAMOE (Race 9, No.9 – $4.20)

Running style has him settling at rear but only five pairs back in worst-case scenario unlike usual seven. Coming off super fast Caulfield Guineas win and could be even better at 2040m. Huge chance if he can get dragged into finish.

Value bet: NEW YORK BABY (Race 3, No. 2 – $4)

NICK QUINN (TAB) Form: 31241

FORGOT YOU (Race 7, No.1 – $1.95)

Forgot You comes into this race on the back of an eye catching sixth in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas and looks well placed to win his third race this preparation on to the Victoria Derby.

Value bet: LOMBARDO (Friday night, Race 7, No.6 – $4.80)

JETT HATTON (Racenet) Form: 31171

DOSH (Race 4, No.9 – $3.10)

This filly went enormous last time out when Saxatoxl ran her down in the shadows of the post. That horse is a Group 1 winner and the favourite for Friday night’s Manikato Stakes. Dosh did a stack of work on that day but maps to get an easier time of it here, she is right at her peak third-up and well weighted with 56.5kg.

BELLA NIPOTINA (Friday night, Race 7, No.8 – $11)

ROYAL RANDWICK

RAY THOMAS (Daily Telegraph) Form: 2231x

HILAL (Race 8, No.1 – $2.80)

Hilal does plenty wrong in his races but he is a colt loaded with ability. He gave jockey Tommy Berry a difficult ride but still produced a strong finishing burst to run down Coastwatch in the Stan Fox Stakes over 1500m here last start. Hilal showed talent last season where he was twice runner-up at Group 1 level including his Champagne Stakes effort behind Captivant over the Randwick 1600m course. He’s back in top form, well placed at the set weights conditions of the Bondi Stakes and is the one to beat.

MATT JONES (Daily Telegraph) Form: 3411x

GRAVINA (Race 10, No. 9 – $2.50)

He’s run two good races this time in and peaks now to win. He ran just behind the highly rated sprinter Big Parade who went on to win the Sydney Stakes last weekend so the form is super.

Value bet: ICEBATH (Race 9, No.10 – $7.50)

CLINTON PAYNE (Racenet) Form: 7s1x1

CONTEMPORARY (Race 1, No. 1 – $3.40)

Has the benefit of race experience and a perfect draw. Will be hard to hold out.

Value bet: PRIME STAR (Race 5, No.5 – $9)

DOOMBEN

TRENTON AKERS (Courier Mail) Form: 11641

CONTEMPTUOUS (Race 10, No.2 – $3)

Is in great form at the moment and looks to have more up his sleeve getting the 3kg claim here with gun apprentice Jaden Lloyd riding. Has drawn perfectly to scoot around the tight Doomben circuit.

Value bet: HONKYTONK DIVA (Race 2, No.4 – $6)

s – denotes tip was scratched.

x – denotes spell or holiday.
