Mr Manhattan broke 57s winning over 1000m with apparent ease. The lightly-raced chestnut has won twice previously on soft going and has the ability to cope with the class rise on Saturday.

Was shut down at the 200m first up and Christian Reith had to sit up on her and coast to the line. The next time Joao Moreira rode her in a Rosehill and she drew 12, was 14th at the turn and saw so many rumps steaks up the running that it was amazing she even beat one home! She’s been back to the trials and was fabulous when 2nd to tearaway winner Tuscan Falls in a 791m heat at WF on Oct. 9. She is a winner here at Randwick on Cup Day last year and is 1s 0-0-1 at the trip and that was in the James HB Carr.
