APACHE SONG (R8 No.2 – $2.60)

Far too good last start at The Valley, bolted in by 4.3 lengths, and no reason why she cannot repeat the dose. Mare on the up and capable of going through her grades.

NEXT BEST

JENNY THE BEAVER (R1 No.5 – $3.90)

Closed off nicely from midfield last start at The Valley to run third, extra distance suits and weight advantage on key rivals rising slightly in grade.

IT’S A YES (R5 No.4 – $3.20)

Dominant maiden winner last start at Ararat by 4½ lengths. First-up second at Warrnambool behind RUBIQUITY (5), a $6 chance on Friday night.

VALUE BET

MAJOR SHARE (R6 No.5 – $6)

Fast galloper has won second-up previously and should enjoy getting around The Valley. Respect favourite Big Me, might be too good for these, but happy to find out with Major Share.
