Champion jockey Craig Williams has escaped serious injury after a fall at Caulfield jumpouts on Wednesday.
Champion jockey Craig Williams has been medically cleared to ride on Friday night at The Valley.
Williams missed Wednesday’s Bendigo meeting after a fall in the morning at Caulfield jumpouts.
Jockey manager Jason Breen posted an update on Williams’s X account on Wednesday afternoon.
“Craigh has been medically cleared to ride and is looking forward to Friday night under lights at Moonee Valley,” Breen posted.

Hello everyone, Craig had an accident this morning at the trials but heâs okay. He wonât be riding today at Bendigo. The on course medics assessed him as having sustained a soft tissue injury to his right leg. He will be further assessed by local GP later today. - Ethan (media)

Williams is booked to ride Growing Empire in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes on Friday night as well as Mr Brightside in the Group 2 Feehan Stakes.
The 78-time Group 1-winner has eight rides at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney on Saturday including Clear Proof in the Group 1 Golden Rose.
