The smart son of Harry Angel showed off his considerable talent with a commanding all-the-way effort, beating Group 1 Champions Sprint winner Sunshine In Paris by 1½ lengths.
Trainer Nathan Doyle thought the effort highlighted Private Harry’s best asset as he prepares for a Group 1 assault.
“It’s his cruising speed and the way he fires out of the machines, he sort of breaks their heart,” Doyle said.
“They have got to chase the hot speed and he can sprint off it.
“It’s a good asset to have and we look forward to stepping him up into The Galaxy because he definitely deserves his chance there.”

Private Harry thrust himself into Group 1 contention with an amazing debut campaign that saw him put together four straight victories.
He was given a few weeks freshen up following his brilliant last start win in the $3m Magic Millions Sunlight (1100m) at the Sunshine Coast on January 4.
Doyle has been impressed with his progress since returning to work and gave his latest public appearance a big tick.
“He showed the desired stuff that we wanted to see from him,” Doyle said.
“He will have a second trial in a couple of weeks time and that will top him off for a first-up crack at The Galaxy.
“Without having a real big break, he only had a couple of weeks off so he had a little bit of residual fitness but being a big gross colt, you sort of need to bring him up to speed.”
Doyle said Private Harry will have his second trial at Newcastle on March 5 or Rosehill Gardens on March 6.
Private Harry is a $3.20 favourite for The Galaxy with Switzerland at $6.
