Shayno: Hello Mitchy. Will we see the Slipper winner tomorrow? That’s the Golden Slipper of course and question two, is it in the Silver Slipper or the Blue Diamond or not at all?
Mitch: G’day Shayno. I am declaring it, we will see the Golden Slipper winner on Saturday. Just don’t ask me which horse! I can’t wait for the Silver Slipper and certainly don’t think it’s a one horse race. The wide alley for Wodeton has me leaning the way of West Of Swindon.
Did we just see the Golden Slipper winner?! ð®

Shayno: Yes, I was all set to put a one beside Wodeton until he drew 11 of 11. Look, he might be a champion but the way 1100s are run at Rosehill most times, it is advantage inside draws and leaders. Enter, Bel Merci.
Mitch: The Hobartville Stakes is a worthy co-main event. Broadsiding brings the fresh legs, Public Attention was brilliant in the Eskimo Prince Stakes and Linebacker should love the 1400m. I’m with Broadsiding. He’s a star and tipping he’s in for a massive autumn.
Shayno: Looking at the Hobartville honour roll, it seems more often that not the best horse and wins. Suffice to say that Broadsiding boasts the highest benchmark rating of ANY horses racing at Rosehill tomorrow, ipso facto, he’s on top for me.
Broadsiding! The @godolphin colt becomes the first horse to win the G1 Golden Rose first-up and he is now a three-time G1 winner. That's a third Golden Rose for @mcacajamez ðµðµðµ pic.twitter.com/lOM6NAi36Z

Mitch: I found the Millie Fox Stakes a bit trickier. I landed on the favourite Makarena but the price is hardly a spoil. She wasn’t far away in a Golden Eagle the last time we saw her and finds a suitable kick off point here.
Shayno: You don’t have to win to be an eye-catcher and in fact Our Gold Hope only beat one home in the Southern Cross first-up but she ran as well as anything in front of her and better than most.
Mitch: My best bet comes up in race three this weekend Shayno and that’s French Ruler. He’s a progressive three-year-old coming off a great spring campaign and finds a winnable first-up assignment. What other races have caught your eye?
Great to see French Ruler get up and win race 6 at Newcastle this afternoon.

Shayno: The Parramatta Cup is full of Sydney Cup contenders. So much so that my Parramatta Cup trifecta – Kinesiology, Zechariah and Asterix – will do me for my Sydney Cup bets/tips.
Mitch: I see it very similarly, Kinesiology and Asterix both look like high quality stayer. The Parramatta Cup will be short of their best but class will take them a long way.
