RACE 1: 3YO+ MAIDEN PLATE (1800m)
OKAMI STAR (6) jumped from 1600m straight to 2000m at Kembla when wide early and sent forward to lead before finishing a safely held third to Tenbury Wells on Sept 28. Drops back to 1800m here. BLUEBIRD BAY (4) sat outside the leader and went to the front passing the 200m before finishing third to the swooping You Wahng over 1400m on debut at Scone on Sept 27. By The Autumn Sun from a half-sister to Metal Bender. Will relish the extra trip. PIERONIMO (7) and SUAY MAM’SELLE (3) have place claims.

RACE 2: 3YO+ MAIDEN HANDICAP (1300m)
TWIN ISLAND (14) is a debutant by Per Incanto from the family of Group 1 winner Special Harmony. Went to the line hard held when a close third to Olufsen in her Rosehill trial on Sept 16. Ran a handy third behind Vomo Island when resuming at Wyong last November before a fourth to Gelatin at Warwick Farm in December. Recent trials have been good including a Rosehill heat win on Oct 4. MARACAIBO SUN (1) has only finished out of the top four once in his seven starts. Wide gate the concern.
BET: Twin Island to win.

RACE 3: 3YO+ MAIDEN PLATE (1100m)
LEANTOTHEMOON (4) was caught three-wide without cover and kept trying to the line when beaten just over a length into fourth behind Up The Front on debut over 1000m at Hawkesbury on Sept 7. Will take improvement from the experience. EMERY (10) is a first starter by Almanzor trained by Sara Ryan. Worked home impressively from midfield to grab Jellicious in his Wyong trial on Sept 9. Good late when ridden to the line for fourth in his Sept 24 Canterbury heat. SHOUTABOUTIT (13) boxed on well after racing keenly first-up at Taree.

RACE 4: BENCHMARK 64 (1800m)
HOOLIGAN TOMMY (4) scored a narrow but confidence-boosting win at Scone and followed up with a big win at Canberra over 1600m. Returns to provincial grade and suited stepping up to 1800m. FLEET COMMANDER (1) was a winner fourth-up last time in. Has missed a couple of runs since his last start due to meetings being cancelled. IMPUNITY (8) settled a clear last but made up ground when eighth over 1400m first-up here Sept 12. Hit form when he got to 1800m last campaign with a win and two seconds.
BET: Hooligan Tommy to win.

RACE 5: CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1600m)
LUGARNO (3) fought strongly when a close second to Pleasure Artist before a second to the promising Tenbury Wells. Broke through for a well earned win when he raced outside the leader and pulled away to score by nearly four lengths from San Gabriel last start. WHATADILEMMA (2) is close to his second career win. Beaten a nose to Tip Top Timing first-up before a close third to Behind The Storm at Newcastle. LADY GOLD (6) just went too quick in front last start. Good second in record time at Wyong before that. ROLLING MAGIC (1) is coming off a nice maiden win at Newcastle.
BET: Lugarno to win.

RACE 6: SUPER MAIDEN HANDICAP (1000m)
CIRCLE OF LOVE (9) is a debutant by Exceed And Excel from the Neasham and Archibold stable. Led all-the-way for a smart win in her Warwick Farm heat on Sept 30. BENZOU (2) is a Queenslander making his debut. The son of Zousain sat last and stayed on the fence when he was held up full of running when a close third in his Doomben heat on Sept 24. IDOLISED (11) will take benefit from her debut third to The Deal at Kembla on Sept 14.
BET: Circle Of Love to win.

RACE 7: FILLIES & MARES BENCHMARK 64 (1100m)
GLORIOSO (6) placed in her first four starts at the provincials before a trip to Warwick Farm when unplaced. Finally broke through when she went to Ballarat to end her campaign in May. Has trialled in strong heats behind Bustling and Overpass without being pushed. RIVER PAT (5) sat midfield and ducked back to the rails after straightening when third to Reigning King at Newcastle first-up. Beat Cross Your Heart on debut before a second to Rush Hour in her first campaign. MAD DARCEY (1) won first-up last campaign at the provincials.
BET: Glorioso to win.

RACE 8: COLTS, HORSES & GELDINGS BENCHMARK 64 (1100m)
MELLIFLUENT (4) sat behind the leader and had to dig deep to just grab Excelindeed on the line on debut at Canterbury on February. Restless in the gates and slow out when last at Caulfield first-up in June. Resumes as a gelding and trials have been good. MOGUL MONARCH (10) is racing very well with a win and two close second from four runs this campaign. UP THE FRONT (6) is chasing a hat-trick after wins at Hawkesbury and Goulburn.
BET: Mellifluent to win.

Good efforts in both runs this campaign for his new stable. Drawn well and looks hard to beat.

Made it two wins from three starts with a tough effort chasing down the leader at Bathurst last start.
