Brad Waters’ best bets, value plays for Bendigo races Wednesday

Ballarat trainer Dominic Sutton has found the perfect race for a consistent type while a $16 chance can produce a big finish to Wednesday’s Bendigo meeting.

Racenet form analyst Brad Waters looks at Wednesday’s eight-race card at Bendigo, where he thinks a lightly-raced gelding, to be ridden by John Allen, can return a winner at a big price.

Brad’s best bet – currently a $2.80 chance in fixed odds markets – has performed exceptionally well in his two runs this time in and goes around in one of the quaddie legs on Wednesday.

KING NEPTUNE (Race 7 No.11 – $2.80)
Has gone well at both runs this time in and will find himself in the perfect assignment at Bendigo. No excuses on Wednesday.

NEXT BEST
SECOND FIX (Race 3 No.4 – $4.20)
Chased home a talented type on debut and will be better for the experience. Drawing barrier three will make him harder to beat.

AMINATU (Race 5 No.1 – $4)
Led and gave a good sight on this track last time in another consistent effort. She’ll be hard to run down again.

VALUE BET
DISMOUNT (Race 8 No.5 – $16)
Closed well when not far away on the tight Tatura track last time. He can improve on the bigger Bendigo circuit.
