BEST BET
STAR ANGEL (Race 3 No.10): She has been narrowly beaten at two of her last three runs and switches to the synthetic for this. Expecting her to finish hard with blinkers on.

NEXT BEST
AQUEDUCT (Race 6 No.2): The three-year-old has returned in good form with wins on the Ballarat Synthetic runs at his last two outings. No reason he can’t again be around the mark at Pakenham.
AUSTRATA (Race 7 No.4): Has steadily improved in four runs on the Pakenham Synthetic track this time in. He’s hard fit and should go close from barrier one.

VALUE BET
CELESTIAL OPTION (Race 1 No.2): Has shown talent at both spaced runs, including when running on well on the Pakenham Synthetic track first-up. He’ll be fitter and is again a good each-way chance.

LAY OF THE DAY
KING TUT (Race 6 No.3): It’s never easy going from a maiden win to winning a Benchmark 64 at a horse’s next start. The percentages are in favour of laying King Tut at Pakenham on Monday.
