Here is all the early info you need to start to find the winners for Saturday’s major race meetings around Australia.
Queensland’s best race day of the year will headline Australian racing at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
The Queensland Winter Carnival’s biggest day will be feature two Group 1s – Queensland’s biggest race the $1.5 million Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap (1400m) and the last two-year-old Group 1 of the season – the $1 million JJ Atkins (1600m).
Supporting the features are three Group 2 contests – the $1.2 million Q22 (2200m), $400,000 Brisbane Cup (3200m) and the $200,000 Dane Ripper Stakes (1300m).
Other Stakes races on the card are the Group 3 Gunsynd Classic (1600m), and three Listed races Oxlande Stakes (1300m), Wayne Wilson (1600m) and the Hinkler Handicap (1200m).
In Sydney at Randwick, the Listed Bob Charley AO Stakes (1100m) is the main event while black-type racing is rounded out this weekend at Belmont with the Group 3 Hyperion Stakes (1600m).
In Victoria, racing heads to the Sandown Hillside track on Saturday while the Morphettville Parks circuit host South Australian racing.
