Will Jamie Kah push forward on Behemoth from barrier 9 and sit second or will she also be looking to not be so far forward?
If Tofane and Behemoth don’t come out of the gates aggressively and attempt to look for cover there’s a chance they could get posted three-wide the trip, making their task almost impossible.

Favourite Sinawann (gate 6) was slow out of the gates last time and he can’t afford the same thing to happen here.
Craig Williams won’t want to be too far off the speed so the jump from the gates for Sinawann is crucial.
Also, of the horses drawn in gates 1, 2, 3 and 4 — Cascadian, Lighthouse, Wild Planet and Just Folk — how far forward will they want to be?
The race will be an intriguing battle of tactics when the gates open.
A lot will depend on how the horses jump but the first 200m of this race could make or break the chances of a few runners.
