Form analyst Shayne O’Cass runs the rule over Monday’s meetings in New South Wales.
Kosciuszko-winning trainer Keith Dryden has found the right race at the right time for Canberra-based mare Burgundy Girl to add a third win to her C.V on Monday.

Seven-year-old 19 start maiden but he has placed 4 from 7 at this venue.
VALUE
Race 4 No. 7: Beograd Boy
Blotted the copybook last start but was otherwise on target for a first win.

Race 5: 1,5,9,10
Race 6: 6,8
Race 7: 1,5
JOCKEY TO FOLLOW
Jess Taylor has a 19.5 per cent win and 46.2 per cent place strike rate at Queanbeyan.
ARMIDALE
BEST BET
Race 1 No. 9: Rinnero
Has been very good in his two runs for Brett Dodson. Ready to win.
NEXT BEST
Race 3 No. 5: Wanda River
Placed two out of three and arguably in better maidens than this.
VALUE
Race 4 No. 4: Gobbled
Paid the price for the wide gate last start but was so brave.

RACE 4
Boegrad Boy has placed back to back before his October 1 sixth of 11 at Cootamundra which was more or less the result of a wide run on the day. No surprise to see why Rob Potter chose to back him up here; this is not an especially strong race. Majestic Lilly has won just once in her 35 starts but she has placed 7 times, 6 of those were at this trip (from 15 attempts). Has claims. Former Chris Waller trained filly Skoozi Yes has joined a very good local stable.
Bet: Beograd Boy to win
RACE 5
Rinzai drew 12 of 12, led., but passed late when a brave second at Nowra under Louise Day last start. The Jarrod Austin will start from nearly the outside alley this time which is obviously not ideal but he might just have them for form and talent. Joe Cleary has found the perfect race for Gerry Harvey owned stable recruit Single Attraction and the first starter Rockbarton Shout. Market watch advised on both. Ditto for Sushi Sushi has trialled well.
Bet: Rinzai to win
RACE 6
Kiss The Colours is very fast. She ran 56.22 seconds when she won at the Sapphire Coast over 1000m first-up and 50.43 seconds for the 900m here in the Class 1 at her subsequent start. This is a Class 2 (and above) on Monday but she is obviously flying and could be hard to catch. Mooshka, a Nick Olive housed local, has placed 3 from 4 first-up, placed in all three here at home and absolutely loves this trip! Has a winning draw too. Las Vegas Girl has placed at her only two runs at the track and distance.
Bet: Kiss The Colours to win, quinella 6,8, box trifecta 3,4,6,8
RACE 7
Ticklebelly, a stablemate of Mogo Magic, was in another league to her rivals when she won at Gundagai on debut. She had the misfortune of bumping into Sunlight’s three-quarter-sister Sunchyme in her Class 1 assignment at Moruya and was beaten by a better horse. Barrier 3 and Kayla Nisbet on Monday - tick, tick. Raider Eightyeight, the horse named in tribute to Laurie Daley, has always exhibited natural talent. Resumes at home with a good alley and a 2kg claim. Champers Girl, the great-granddaughter of Champagne is a major market watch.
Bet: Ticklebelly to win, exacta 5 to beat 1
ARMIDALE
RACE 4
Gobbled was a huge race in the Bowraville Cup, clocking in second on the day. He was third at Ballina in an Open Handicap after that but he paid the price for his 9 of 10 draw. In actual fact, he was quite brave to be beaten less than a length. Note the wide draw again this time - sadly. Rebel’s Edge is one of the pedigree buffs perhaps. His sixth dam is Dual Choice who won 10 races that were or still are Group 1 races. As for Rebel Edge, he was outstanding throughout the whole last campaign. Market might tell us more about his ‘readiness’.
Bet: Gobbled to win
RACE 5
Our Girl Eve, the mare from Glen Innes, has won 6 races and placed 9 times in her 44 starts which is a pretty honourable C.V when it is all said and done. But best of all, the Paddy Cunningham trained mare has won her last two, not by far but from way back and over the top. She ran down Hardyo last start at Tamworth; Hardyo is there again on Tuesday along with his stablemate Chocolatier who hasn’t really figured lately but in stronger races.
Bet: Our Girl Eve to win, Chocolatier to place
RACE 6
Barcelona Express is on a hat-trick of wins come Tuesday and that’s from only 11 starts and we should also point out, from just five starts for David Matts since he came up to NSW from Victoria. He beat some respectable Northern Rivers Class 1 types at Coffs Harbour last start. Suva May has finished on the podium 14 times in 31 starts. Granted, only two of those are wins but a handful of her 10 seconds could just as easily have been wins. Quick As A Fash has claims.
Bet: Barcelona Express to win, exacta 2 to beat 6
RACE 7
Sir Donald, the cleverly-named son of I Am Invincible, is on a quest for his eighth career win on Tuesday or his 13th placing depending on what happens. The ten-year-old from Tamworth is holding his form, big time, look at these numbers ‘1275223’ from his last seven innings. Insightful Award was scratched from Coonamble on Sunday. Scott Singleton’s mare has barrier 1 at an on-pacers track and 3kg off for the star apprentice Mitch Stapleford. Flying Miracle was runner-up to stablemate Bears best here one day. Won here first-up so likes the venue.
Bet: Sir Donald to win
