RACE 4
Ms Reeves scored a smart closing win from Gecko Coin over 1000m at Dubbo on debut before close seconds at her next two starts. Was held up momentarily around the bend at Orange second-up then didn’t appreciate the kick back in her face when a long head second to Timmy at Dubbo. Drawn to get the perfect run and looks hard to beat. Hachiman battled away for fifth to Gustosisimo when resuming at Hawkesbury then broke his maiden with a length and a quarter win from Casebolt at Bathurst on Oct 27. Mr Wallace ran on well for second first-up at Muswellbrook.
Bet: Ms Reeves to win
RACE 5
Cripps Tonite resumed for new trainer Nathan Doyle with a nice win at Hawkesbury after being held up until about the 250m. Jumped up in grade when ninth to Jedibeel at Warwick Farm before dropping back with a win over this track and distance on Oct 27. Hard to go past again. Fine Vintage kicked off this campaign with a narrow win at Scone on Sept 5 before stepping out on the Beaumont 21 days later and winning by nearly four lengths. Back from a let-up and will be prominent again. Scarzel won the Cup Day Sprint at Coonabarabran over this trip from Moetta before a close third to Zakor in the Open Sprint over 900m at Muswellbrook.
Bet: Cripps Tonite to win
RACE 6
Point Basse is unlucky not to be undefeated. Debuted with a near two length win from Noisy Boy here on Aug 6 then was beaten a short head by Elleves two weeks later when held up until approaching the 200m. Bounced back with a big win over 1300m here last start and hard to beat again. Exonumia has improved with each run this campaign and will be at his peak now. Closed well for third over 1200m at Tamworth on Sept 25 before beating all bar Dirty Merchant at Coonabarabran. Should appreciate the step up to 1400m. Dirty Merchant has claims on his last start win but carries 2kg more.
Bet: Point Basse to win
RACE 7
Nebraskan did a good job to win on debut after leading but being kept out three-wide. He showed plenty of fight to hold out Fuld’s Doubt who tracked him. The one to beat but has drawn out again. Jarmanagic is racing much better than his form suggests. Produced an eye-catching run at Wellington last start when giving away a huge start before charging home for fourth and he had to change course inn the straight. Don’t underestimate. Stablemates Whispering Cate and Cool Ruler have place claims.
Bet: Nebraskan to win
INSIDE MAIL - QUEANBEYAN
RACE 4
Chaotic Beauty finished three lengths behind Xcited in a Bm66 at Orange before a four length fifth to Invincible Dash in the Queanbeyan Cup on Oct 29. Back to a Bm58 and drawn well. Garratt Road resumed from a long spell with a length and a half fifth to Temple Garden over 1600m in a Class 2 at the Sapphire Coast on Nov 2. Has a win and third from two runs over 2000m. Threw stepped up to 2000m for the first time at Bathurst on Oct 27 with a handy win from Kyanite. Broke his maiden in a Class 1 on this track in September.
Bet: Chaotic Beauty to win
RACE 5
Rhumbadu was unlucky when a length third to Princeton at Moruya first-up from a spell when checked and had to change course. Shared the lead in the middle of a line of three before finishing fifth behind Direct Fire at the Sapphire Coast last start. Better with a sit and can run a cheeky race. Love Of Air has placed two of her last three at Queanbeyan and Canberra either side of a two and three-quarter-length sixth at Canberra on Oct 20. Drawn to get a nice run. Gorgeous Prophet was three-wide when a length third to Fantini over 920m at Mouyra two starts back. Capable of running well.
Bet: Rhumbadu to win
RACE 6
Keith has scored a couple of very big wins of late and looks hard to beat again. Won by seven lengths at Wagga on Sept 30 before a second to Snap Book at Albury and an eighth at Wagga. Led all-the-way to win by over seven lengths again at Wagga last start. Emma Ly claims 3kg. Diamond Flyer has claims on her Kembla win (dead heat) over 1400m on Sept 9. Better than her last start fifth behind Vegas Outlaw at Kembla. Albanian Eagle boxed on after racing on speed when a length and a quarter fifth to Alenia first-up at the Sapphire Coast.
Bet: Keith to win
RACE 7
Threethumbsup ran his best race to date when second to Wandjina Gal over this track and distance last start. Sat back early before making a long sustained run out four-wide and just failing by a short head. Red Redemption was well beaten in that race but ran third to Old Newmarket and Wandjina Gal the start prior. Encantado has the ability to win this and stronger races. Just needs to be on his best behaviour at the start.
Bet: Theethumbsup to win
