INSIDE MAIL - WARWICK FARM

RACE 1

Joey D’Or started in the market on debut but run well below expectations when last to Celestial Legend and Ostraka at Rosehill on May 20 and was sent for a spell. Has been good winning both his trials at Rosehill in recent weeks and can show his best here. Belyaev raced four and five wide throughout when two lengths off Missouk at Hawkesbury first-up. Pushed up to lead at Wyong before finishing third to Costa Smeralda. Wide draw is the only negative. Bambi Belle raced greenly when third to Bella Ace at Moruya last start. Will be improved by the experience.

Bet:Joey D’Or to win

RACE 2

Zondee got pushed three-wide by eventual winner Ostraka near the 800m and forced to cover extra ground before being crowded over the concluding stages at Rosehill two weeks ago. His form in Victoria was handy where he placed in each of his three runs. Drawn well. Bright Legend settled in the second half of the field after copping a bump soon after the start and worked home fairly for fourth to Zelta on debut over 1400m here on Sept 23. Will be better for the run and a step up in trip. Autunno just lost a little ground as he was coming wide off the bend before finishing fourth to a fast-finishing Talento over 1600m here last start. Can run into the placings.

Bet:Zondee to win

RACE 3

Whisky Wisdom ran well to finish a two length third behind Riff Rocket after being held up until approaching the 200m here on Sept 14. Took a step up in grade when beaten just over three lengths by Loving Cilla in a Midway over 1800m at Randwick on Sept 30. Back to 1600m. Owari also drops back in trip after his close third to Vieste over 1850m at Newcastle on Sept 30. Was just beaten by Rose To It at Hawkesbury for that. Has never missed a place this trip. Owl Witness is building towards a win after placings at his last four starts, three of them this preparation. Was wide throughout when runner-up at Canberra last start.

Bet:Whisky Wisdom to win. Quinella 2, 3

RACE 4

Whetu settled a long last before beginning a run from the 800m and he joined the leaders rounding the bend before dashing away in the straight to win by over eight lengths under over 2100m at Wyong last start. Stays in the same grade and gets a 2kg claim from Jett Stanley. Jessandi won over this trip at Hawkesbury three starts back. Good effort over 1800m again when a length fourth to Loving Cilla in a Midway at Randwick on Sept 30. Verbek comes out of the same Midway when a two length sixth after leading. Mah Ali ran a handy fifth to and promising Allpercanto when resuming before winning her maiden in a Class 1 at Newcastle last start.

Bet:Whetu to win

RACE 5

Joyrider found a couple of handy maidens last preparation when sixth to Givara here first-up then fourth to Shipshape at Hawkesbury before a handy second to Lalaguna at Canterbury on May 3 when the blinkers when back on. Led all-the-way to win his Warwick Farm trial on Sept 12. Noble One got back and ran on between runners near the rails when third to the promising Midnight Opal over 1100m on debut at Scone on Sept 22. Pharoah Magic resumes from a long spell but has been trialling well with a win in his first heat at Randwick on Sept 22 and a second to Choice Legend in his second. Struff has placed in all four starts and won’t be far away again.

Bet:Joyrider to win

RACE 6

Alot A Lip led on the outside of Bonita Queen before finishing third to Ballroom Bella on debut at Hawkesbury. Led all-the-way to score a smart two length win from Paji Briway on the Beaumont on Sept 26. Drawn to lead again and will be hard to beat. Best Intent won his maiden at Wagga by nearly four lengths and went within a short head of following up with a Class 1 win at the same track to end his last campaign. Resumed with another big win at Canberra over 1000m and will have no trouble stepping up to 1200m here. Vividness was narrowly beaten after a tough run first-up before a fifth last start.

Bet:Alot A Lip to win. Quinella 2, 7

RACE 7

Swagger is very well placed here for a horse who has won seven races. Stormed home to win an Open Handicap at Wagga by three and a half lengths over 1400m on July 24 then was just pipped there over 1200m on Aug 31. Races well fresh and drawn to get the ideal run. Ritzytwenties led all-the-way to win his maiden at Wagga before stepping up sharply in grade when down the track behind Tannhauser at Randwick last preparation. Headstock is racing in consistent form and won’t be far away. Choisir’s Choice can run a place.

Bet:Swagger each-way

RACE 8

Furious got back and run on when a neck second to Surf On Turf on debut back in April. Resumed with a closing win over 1300m at Sandown-Hillside on Sept 20. Drawn wide but can go back-to-back. Clear Choice raced well last campaign with his worst result a ninth to Rediener on the Kensington when wide without cover. Ready to run well after two handy trials. Famous Pedrille drops in grade from his third to Whinchat in a Bm72 at Rosehill on Sept 27. Roma Avenue raced keenly first-up when eighth to Salisano at Newcastle. Cross-over noseband goes on.

Bet:Furious to win
