Connections of Buffering have accepted a request from the Brisbane Racing Club for him to be a special guest on Stradbroke day, with fans of the $7 million earner having the opportunity to have their photo taken with him. The lavish silverware which came with his Dubai Al Quoz Sprint success will also be on display.
Buffering will be on course with his adoring sidekick Melanie Sharpe from 11.45am and will be paraded in the mounting yard and winner’s enclosure after Race 4.
The Buffering Bar, which overlooks the new pedestrian tunnel and which is visible from Stall 1, will be officially opened after the third race on the card.
â THE BRC will set aside all class and course records at Eagle Farm and they will start from scratch again tomorrow, just as Moonee Valley did after the Strathayr surface was unveiled in 1995.
