Three horses resuming from spells can get a result for punters at Mornington on Wednesday.

BEST BET

AZEEZLE (R5 No.3 – $2.70)

Three-year-old Azeezle returns gelded for his second prep and looks well placed in a 0-64 race. He won his maiden at Ballarat Synthetic in July before contesting some handy handicap races at Caulfield and The Valley before a spell.

NEXT BEST

CULTURAL SPIRIT (R3 No.4 – $3.90)

Cultural Spirit has the blinkers on and has jumped out well for his return in his second campaign. He had just one run in his debut prep in the winter where he started favourite but was beaten nearly five lengths. However, he was only 1¼ lengths behind third placed Red Aces, who won the Group 2 Moonee Valley Vase in the spring.

ROCKABILLY REBEL (R7 No.2 – $3.60)

This look a nice race for the returning Rockabilly Rebel against the mares. She was very consistent last prep with two wins and two close placings.
