Tuvalu looks superbly placed here in a Group 3 weight-for-age contest after resuming in the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes where he went back to last from the wide barrier and ran on to finish fifth. He should improve second-up and settle closer from barrier two. A wet track is also ideal for Tuvalu who is yet to finish out of the placings on soft and heavy ground, winning five of eight starts.
