Race 3 – Benchmark 78 Handicap (1300m)
â Step aside folks, it's the @ZacLloydx show at Rosehill today!

Step Aside wins and the first 3 races belong to Zac!@cwallerracing | @OTIRacing | @aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/cGX6Pk7L2x
1st - STEP ASIDE (Zac Lloyd) Good solid performance. He was quite sharp with the blinkers back on today. The race panned out perfectly for him, stalked the lead then the run came at the perfect time and he took advantage of it, sprinting quickly and putting the race to bed.
2nd - LADY BOSS (Tyler Schiller) She ran well. Got stuffed by the leader (Salisano). It didn’t want to lead, then when I went on it did want to lead so she’s done a good job to stick it out.
3rd - SALISANO (Adam Hyeronimus) Ran well.
4th - FRENCH RULER (Molly Bourke (a2)) Really good first-up effort. Finished off strong after being held up.
5th - WINSTON HILLS (Jason Collett) Had cover but had to cover a bit of ground. Worked home ok but it was always going to be difficult from back there.
6th - CADETSHIP (Benjamin Osmond (a3)) We had no luck in the straight. His run was quite good actually.
7th - PEACE OFFICER (Aaron Bullock) He was ok. Three deep from the wide draw but he finished off the race good. He’ll be better for it.
8th - BAROQUE ROAD (Tim Clark) Disappointing.
9th - DEEP ROUGE (Winona Costin) Came out a bit slow and was always on the back foot.

1st - BOSTON ROCKS (Ashley Morgan) He was good. He beat some progressive horses today so there might be another level in him going forward.
2nd - WALLENDA (Jason Collett) Good run. Just needed it to be 1099 or 1101 metres.
3rd - ENRICHED (Tim Clark) He will improve with the run under the belt.
4th - THEBLADE (Tyler Schiller) Needs a set of blinkers or gelding.
5th - PRIDE TO FOLLOW (Alysha Collett) Just knocked up the last little bit but she’s a nice little progressive filly.
6th - BONITA QUEEN (Benjamin Osmond (a3)) She maybe didn’t handle the back-up. That was my first ride on her and that’s all I can put it down to.
7th - ART’S ALIVE (Jay Ford) She was plain today.

Race 5 – Group 3 Millie Fox Stakes (1200m)

1st - FIRESTORM (Jason Collett) She was really well today, she was in a great frame of mind and even in the run, albeit three pairs back, moderate tempo, I still felt I was going to be running on strongly. Makarena is obviously a good horse, sitting up outside the lead, dictating the speed. I was a little concerned, but she had that extra gear and when I got to them at the 150m, she just went on with it. That was pretty good.
2nd - DARK GLITTER (Reece Jones) I thought she had it. She has run tremendous. Showed a really nice turn of foot. Just fell short.
3rd - SCARLET OAK (Zac Lloyd) I thought I was the winner at the top of the straight but peaked the last 100m. Will take good benefit out of it.
4th - MAKARENA (Tyler Schiller) I thought she was great first-up. Just had to do a bit too much work from the gate.
5th - WATCH MY GIRL (Alysha Collett) Brave run. I thought she ran terrific.
6th - OUR GOLD HOPE (Ashley Morgan) I thought she was fantastic. Probably a bit short of her best but quickened up well. Hit the line strongly.
7th - HINGED (Kerrin McEvoy) I thought she ran well. She got out and moved well for her. They just sort of left her a little bit when they dashed. I like the way she built through it and her last furlong was her best.
8th - NOT THAT EASY (Tom Sherry) Was OK. Finished off alright.

Race 6 – Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m)
There's a new TAB Golden Slipper player on the block! ð

Beiwacht wins the G2 TAB Silver Slipper Stakes in fine style! @JamesCummings88 | @godolphin | @aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/h37fgftk9S
1st - BEIWACHT (Adam Hyeronimus) Today, with the good speed, he jumped well, he was nice and relaxed in the first 100m, and I was able to take up a nice position outside the lead on a good speed. But he started to get quite strong before the turn because I was going so well and I didn’t really want to go but at the same time, I didn’t want to break his stride. So I just tried to hold onto him as much as I could and he showed a very sharp turn of foot. There’s a lot of improvement, as I said, he’s still a very raw colt, and a couple little things he’s doing, what he’s doing is just pure ability. They’re not bad things that he’s doing, but once he realises he’s a racehorse, there’ll be a lot of a different story.
2nd - WEST OF SWINDON (Tyler Schiller) I was really impressed with him. He jumped sharper today, an inside draw helped, and he got a lovely run through following the winner. I thought he did a good job but he will definitely take a lot of improvement out of that.
3rd - WODETON (Kerrin McEvoy) I thought he ran fantastic. Plan was to be a little bit quiet to get some cover but that didn’t eventuate. He got a little bit competitive, having to be a bit closer on the corner having done it the hard way. I liked the way he was quickening through the last furlong. Everything points to him being 100% ready to go in a few weeks’ time. A little bit further will suit him as well.
4th - NASHVILLE JACK (Alysha Collett) Super run. A really great learning curve for him and I think he will improve massively from it.
5th - ALABAMA MAGIC (Jay Ford) Really good. Obviously she is taking on the top seeds today. She performed quite well and will only get better.
6th - BUFFALO (Jason Collett) Very raw.
7th - GAMBLER (Joshua Parr) He showed really good speed. He’s just not the complete package just yet.
8th - BEL MERCI (Zac Lloyd) Not the same horse. Just not her day. Hopefully she pulls up alright. She is much better than that.
9th - BRAT SUMMER (Donovan Dillon) Ran his race before the start. Got into a hot sweat before the gates and on the way to the start. Back to the drawing board.

Race 7 – Group 3 Parramatta Cup (1900m)
Our Anchorage makes it FOUR wins in a row and takes the G3 Parramatta Cup for @BBakerRacing and @AshMorgan6! ð¤©@Darby_Racing | @aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/QsDZIXBctJ

1st - OUR ANCHORAGE (Ashley Morgan) Palmetto was there to beat us and he kept having a dig. He was very strong.
2nd - PALMETTO (Tim Clark) He is going terrific. Had a lovely run, presented like the winner but the 2.5kg was the difference in the end.
3rd - KINESIOLOGY (Reece Jones) Done a really good job. Stepping up to 1900m and just buffeted up the straight.
4th - FOUJITA SAN (Tyler Schiller) I thought he was pretty much home at the 300m. Just didn’t want to do it late. He got past the third horse who has come back and beaten him. I thought he had the right run in transit. Just a bit weak the last 100m.
5th - REDSTONE WELL (Tom Sherry) Ran really well. Just got tired late.
6th - ASTERIX (Joshua Parr) I liked his performance. Onwards and upwards from him.
7th - ATHABASCAN (Ronan Whelan) Delighted with him. We were out the back in a slowly run race. He is a horse that wants further. I was delighted the way he finished up the straight. He had a nice good blow as well. He will improve plenty for it.
8th - MANZOICE (Alysha Collett) Looked really strong through the line in a muddling run race. He tracked up lovely and was strong through the line.
9th - ZECHARIAH (Kerrin McEvoy) He was first-up and found it hard given the slow tempo. His run was respectable. Improvement to come from him second and third run for sure.
10th - DON DIEGO DE VEGA (Jay Ford) Had a nice run. Travelled well. Disappointing in the end.
11th - CIRCLE OF FIRE (Jason Collett) Lovely run. Left flat footed but good through the line.
12th - FRANCESCO GUARDI (Adam Hyeronimus) I thought he has come back well. Obviously a distance short of his best. We were in a nice rhythm. Nice and relaxed. Momentum got halted at the 8/900m as we were starting to build.
13th - WALTHAM (Zac Lloyd) I’d like to see him draw a gate to put him into a race because he is just following the pack around at the moment.

Race 8 – Group 2 Hobartville Stakes (1400m)
Broadsiding returns with a bang! ð¥ He's just too good for them in the G2 Hobartville Stakes - and that's a 4th Rosehill winner for @ZacLloydx ð@JamesCummings88 | @godolphin | @aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/5brw4Y5sdV
— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) February 22, 2025
1st - BROADSIDING (Zac Lloyd) He’s very special, obviously, he’s a very valuable colt to the team and yeah, he’s getting better with age. Never in doubt, never in doubt. Once he’d begun like that, I had to give him a bit of a squeeze to just get in front of the runners underneath me, and once I got there, he just fell right back asleep. Obviously, Mayfair was making it a genuine 1400m for him first up, but perfectly prepared and yeah, he’s just a very, very good colt. At the 500m, I just went through my gears, and he didn’t really need it. He knows his job.
2nd - SWIFTFALCON (Tyler Schiller) I thought he was phenomenal. He gave the winner and best 3yo colt of the year a good head start but ran him down quite strongly. His last bit he was improving. Terrific return.
3rd - AELIANA (Jason Collett) Really good run. Just struggled around the turn on the back of the winner who got away from us. But then late I was very happy with her.
4th - PUBLIC ATTENTION (Joshua Parr) I thought that was a sound effort. The winner’s turn of foot was just a little bit too good for us.
5th - MAYFAIR (Tim Clark) It was definitely an improved performance from him. He is getting back close to his best form.
6th - LINEBACKER (Kerrin McEvoy) He stepped a bit steady and I had to make a call whether to give him a kick or whether to ride him a bit more conservative which I opted to do. We were further back than I would have liked. Ultimately we weren’t that well placed. He’s run really well. Finished on strong through the line. A better beginning would have been beneficial today.
7th - FIRM AGREEMENT (Tom Sherry) Ran well. Gave me a good feel. Just got tired.
8th - JUST PARTY (Jay Ford) Better today but really needs to come on now.
9th - CHINA SEA (Molly Bourke (a)) Really good first up effort. As we know he is going to need ground and he will get better with more runs.
10th - TENBURY WELLS (Alysha Collett) A little bit sharp for him. He’ll be nice and progressive from there.

Ducasse wins the battle at Rosehill first up! ðª@clarkyhk | @MFreedmanRacing | @aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/3HSYDYjUut
— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) February 22, 2025
1st - DUCASSE (Tim Clark) Nice return as a gelding. He really showed good application at the back end of his race
2nd - HEADLEY GRANGE (Reece Jones) Ran well up in grade. Just found one a bit better late.
3rd - SIBAAQ (Joshua Parr) Really good first-up effort with nice improvement to come.
4th - COASTWATCH (Zac Wadick (a2)) Raced well with the big weight. He went a good gallop but just couldn’t sustain it late.
5th - BEL AIR (Ashley Morgan) His run was good. He went like a horse that wants a mile. Got to the line good.
6th - WEST OF AFRICA (Tyler Schiller) Much the same run as last start but he didn’t finish it off like he did on the Gold Coast.
7th - WATEGOS (Jason Collett) Wasn’t happy with the rhythm he was in and he finished off accordingly.
8th - BOLD MAC (Alysha Collett) Lovely first-up run. He’ll come on from that.
9th - BUILLT (Zac Lloyd) He travelled better than where he finished.

Race 10 – Benchmark 94 Handicap (1100m)
ð @ZacLloydx has dominated Rosehill today, ending the day with an incredible FIVE winners with Time To Boogie saluting in the last - what an effort!@MFreedmanRacing | @Darby_Racing | @aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/zQ5W8Fkk9m
— SKY Racing (@SkyRacingAU) February 22, 2025
1st - TIME TO BOOGIE (Zac Lloyd) He was fantastic. Executed well in the blinkers. Jumped quick and never felt like he was getting beaten.
2nd - QUICK TEMPO (Molly Bourke (a2)) Much better today. Jumped like he wanted to be there and was strong all the way to the line.
3rd - SHEZANALISTER (Jason Collett) She felt like the winner when I got to the outside then got within half a length and couldn’t peg them back.
4th - AUSTMARR (Kerrin McEvoy) Good run. She might enjoy another 100m because I think she’ll be better when she finds the front.
5th - COSMONOVA (Reece Jones) Had to go back from a sticky draw then they were a bit too sharp for him at 1100m.
6th - THE BLACK CLOUD (Jay Ford) Face value disappointing but she played up in the barriers and didn’t jump clean. She wasn’t herself today.
7th - SEMILLION (Tyler Schiller) He was ok. Probably just wants a bit of sting out of the ground.
8th - BACCHANALIA (Tom Sherry) Just not finishing off like he can.
