Melbourne Cup 2020: Delta Goodrem sizzles in low-cut Cup number

Singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem is one of the stars of Channel 10’s Melbourne Cup coverage – and dressed to impress.

Before she performed as part of this year’s Melbourne Cup, Aussie musician Delta Goodrem posted a sizzling couple of pictures on her social media pages.

She sang her latest track Solid Gold and took part in a promotional shoot with the trophy before of her performance.

“Everyone has a ticket to Cup Week this year by tuning into Network 10 tomorrow to see the 160th running of the Melbourne Cup & celebrating this great Aussie event,” she posted on Instagram. “I’ll be performing Solid Gold after the race on Network 10!”

The big day also saw alt-rock band The Rubens perform their new single Time of My Life from Sydney Harbour, Pete Murray singing Found My Place from Byron Bay and The Masked Singer Australia winner and Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson on national anthem duties.

There will be no entertainment in Flemington this year because coronavirus restrictions have seen crowds banished from the ground.
