ADELAIDE Cup winning trainer Lloyd Kennewell has kept a low profile since Rialya nosed out Drunken Sailor in the March feature - but that's all about to change.

The 28-year-old, with a full stable of 23 at his Morphettville base, will line up four of the best this Saturday.

Conservatorium - listed in the name of Gary Kennewell, Lloyd's father - is best-credentialled of the quartet.

The Royal Academy sprinter has won six of 15, including two at Listed level, but is resuming after a couple of uncharacteristic efforts in Stakes company.

"He just didn't seem 100 per cent at the time. We've done a fair bit of work with him since then and he's worked really well," Kennewell said. "He's back to Open grade and I think he should be really hard to beat at only 3 1/2 over the minimum with Jacob's (Rule) claim."

Talented sprinter/miler Lexcen also resumes in the Sportingbet Handicap (1250m). The five-year-old has been a consistent earner and has not finished further back than fourth in his past nine starts.

"He's been a great horse to us for such a cheapie," the trainer added. "He's needs everything to go his way as a back-marker but I'm expecting a great race first up."

Kennewell is enthusiastic about the claims of Honourable Kind who resumes in the Janz Handicap (1400m).

The horse took an age to fully recover from a bout of travel sickness on a trip to Darwin trip in 2009 where he ran third in the Cup.

There are no big plans for the son of Honours List but Kennewell expects him to excel at his optimum distance of 2000m.

Penzegeni is the fourth member of Team Kennewell at the Parks.

Rialya goes back to the stables next week with the Melbourne Cup in his ultimate aim.

"He's three-parts qualified and it's a matter of getting him a penalty to be sure of making it," Kennewell said.

The Moonee Valley Cup (2500m) is a likely target. Topliners Eight Maker and Bertucci are also set to resume.

Kennewell is looking forward to lying on a Thailand beach for two weeks next month after the busiest year of his short career when he has spent close to $2 million on 21 yearlings.

"We've been a bit quiet but we're looking to unleash in the spring," he said.
