INSIDE MAIL – HAWKESBURY

RACE 1

MOTHER GOOSE raced wide when third to Wave Breaker on debut at Hawkesbury last August. Second to Ikasara in her Randwick trial Mar 10. Capitalist debutant MAID OF MOOLAH led off the fence and kept under a hold to win her Mar 6 Rosehill trial. Taken back and worked home well when fifth in her latest heat. GUNROOM was narrowly beaten by Lady Zodiac on debut here before a third at Wyong. Can run well first-up again.

RACE 2

IMPACT ZONE is a debutant by Exceed And Excel from the Eight Carat family. Has been very good in all three trials including a third to Bellazaine at Randwick and a second to Jet at Warwick Farm. EXTREME DIVA resumed with a second to Shambretta as a $1.24 fav but didn’t have much go right. Placed second in two of her four starts last prep. RUSTEMO was a handy fourth to Gobi Desert in the Max Lees on debut. Trialling well.

Bet: Impact Zone to win

RACE 3

SIESTA raced well in her first prep with three seconds in Victoria. No luck first-up in her Sydney debut after sitting wide without cover when a length third to Happy Bellie on the Kensington. PELOSA was backed in from $2.50 into $2.05 fav when resuming at Kembla when fourth to Seastraand after blundering at the start. Will be fitter for the run. MAYBE NOW led when beaten a length into second by Seastraand. Can run another cheeky race.

Bet: Siesta to win

RACE 4

WINNING RULET was specked from $19 into $13 on debut at Gosford and justified the support with a neck second behind odds-on fav Mercantilist. She will make her presence felt again. LITERATURE TYCOON was just beaten by Tokyo Queen. Settled back on the rails and battled away to only beaten one home at Wyong last start. Can bounce back. Her stablemate EMPUSA was just beaten into third behind Inspired Star first-up before a second to Piperita at Wyong.

RACE 5

SHE CONQUERS was third to Island Dec on debut and then kicked off last prep with a win from Roman Script over 1000m here on Dec 15 before a break. Resumes here off a closing fifth in her Rosehill trial. FORMAL broke her maiden at Port Macquarie in late January and has been beaten a nose in two of her three starts since. The latest was behind Hellbent On You here on Mar 8. FLYING EMBERS was good in her first prep and has claims.

RACE 6

INVADE AND CONQUER dictated in front and kicked away for a big win over 1400m at Kembla last start. Will give a bold sight again. KOIOS was impressive winning his maiden before a close second to Tenderize at Canterbury. Ran to the front before Presides kicked back to beat him at Newcastle last start. Blinkers go on which will help his focus. ZOUSAIN BOLT was good winning at Newcastle before his third to Brigidine Gal at Warwick Farm.

Bet: Invade And Conquer each-way

RACE 7

ALABAMA FOX closed well for third to Jacob’s Ladder on debut at Canberra. Tracked the speed on when a good winner from Ivy Legend at Kembla. Drawn well and a chance again. BROADWAY FOLLIES tracked the leader when a two length second to Heat Missile when resuming at Kembla. Scored back-to-back wins before a second to Gai’s Artists here last time in. LAST COMMAND tackled two stakes races after a first-up win last prep.

RACE 8

DASHING RUPERT started his career with back-to-back wins at Goulburn before a seventh at Warwick Farm. Resumed with a handy win from Quick Step at Scone and from a good draw, is a top chance again. ISTOLEA MERC was beaten into second place as a $1.75 fav first-up before bouncing back consecutive wins at Nowra. Big jump in grade when eighth to Brigidine Gal at Warwick Farm last start. HYPERBOLIC will be better for her first-up fourth at Gosford.

Bet: Dashing Rupert to win

RACE 9

QUEEN STRADA followed to close second placings at Hawkesbury and Wyong with a nice win from Dark Arts at Kembla. Drawn well and can go back-to-back. MAISON LOUIS was a big winner at Goulburn second-up before a safely held second to Exclusive Artist at Gosford. HOOLIGAN TOMMY has claims on his first-up Goulburn win. Placed both runs here.
