Mick Price’s well-bred filly Euphoric Summer is on track for next month’s $2 million Magic Millions and will have a lead-up run in Queensland at the end of this month.

The daughter of star stallion Not A Single Doubt and talented mare Mid Summer Music was tough when nailing Rathlin to win the Magic Millions Clockwise Classic on Ballarat Cup Day. That came after a strong performance on debut behind Tanker in the Inglis Debutant at Caulfield.
Price said the flashy chestnut will likely run in the B.J. McLachlan Stakes on December 28 before progressing onto the Magic Millions on January 11.
“She is doing a good job,” Price said.
“She improved from her first run to her second run and if she can travel up their well, I am trying to allow for her to improve from the McLachlan into the Magic Millions.”
Euphoric Summer, who was a $260,000 Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase, is rated a $15 TAB chance in the Magic Millions.
