When Boban met Kristin: NBA giant dwarfs tiny singer
HE can dunk a basketball without jumping. She’s spent her life dodging people’s elbows. The photos of them meeting are everything.
SHE’S just under 150cm. He’s officially listed at just over 220cm but appears to get bigger every season.
So when actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth found out she’d be singing the American national anthem before her hometown Oklahoma City Thunder hosted Boban Marjanovic’s LA Clippers, they just had to meet.
And the pictures were as hilarious as you’d expect.
Chenoweth, who has won a Tony and an Emmy in a glittering career, is famous for her lack of height.
“The advantages are that I can weave in and out of a crowd and no one knows I’m there,” she told parade.com in 2014. “The disadvantages are that I can weave in and out of a crowd and be knocked over.
“I can get sucker punched by somebody’s elbow on the streets of New York and they don’t even know it, I can get sliced by an umbrella. Trying to unload the dishwasher is like a monkey in a jungle, I climb, climb, climb. I am never going to be taller than any date, that’s a plus. I struggle where I buy my clothes, Gap Kids, but then they’re cheaper. So there always is a silver lining.”
Marjanovic’s life has been the opposite.
