Wayne Rooney’s wife accuses ex-teammate’s wife of selling private stories to the media
The wife of football superstar Wayne Rooney has sent social media wild with a bombshell accusation at a former teammate’s wife.
Football superstar Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen has sent social media into absolute meltdown by dropping a bombshell accusation on Wednesday night.
Coleen, 32, took to her social media accounts to drop the wild story of someone in her inner circle selling stories pertaining to her private life to the media.
She had reportedly long held suspicions over who the culprit may be but undertook a long process to back up her thoughts.
The mother of four admitted to planting false stories on her Instagram account all while blocking every other follower bar one.
Of course the stories kept coming up in the media, confirming Coleen’s suspicions and leaving her to call out Rebekah Vardy, the wife of Jamie, one of Wayne’s England teammates.
This has been a burden in my life for a few years now and finally I have got to the bottom of it...... pic.twitter.com/0YqJAoXuK1

The detective work and incredibly dramatic and well-delivered final line brought the best out of social media as everyone reached for the popcorn.
Only an hour after posting and planting the accusation, both Coleen and Rebekah were trending in Australia and the United States.
I will vote for any political party who agree to immediately give us the rest of the day off so we can follow this Coleen Rooney/Rebekah Vardy thing properly.

"It's ..........Rebekah Vardy's account." is arguably the best ending to anything that I've ever read.

Thirty minutes after Coleen posted her accusation, Rebekah responded via her own Twitter account.
“As I have just said to you on the phone, I wish you had called me if you thought this,” she tweeted.
“I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists who have asked me to over the years can vouch for.
“If you thought this was happening you could have told me & I could have changed my passwords to see if it stopped.
“Over the years various people have had access to my insta & just this week I found I was following people I didn’t know and have never followed myself.
“I’m not being funny but I don’t need the money, what would I gain from selling stories on you? I like you a lot Coleen & I’m so upset that you have chose to do this, especially when I’m heavily pregnant.
“I’m disgusted that I’m even having to deny this. You should have called me the first time this happened.”
It left other WAGs picking sides. Danielle Lloyd, who was previously married to footballer Jamie O’Hara, left a series of rat emojis under Coleen’s original post about Becky.
“On a serious note though who does that it’s terrible,” she wrote.
But Nicola McLean, who is married to former QPR player Tom Williams, appeared to be on Team Vardy, as she liked Becky’s denial message in response to Coleen’s accusations.
Each of the stories provided to The Sun was put to Coleen’s representatives before publication, and on each occasion they declined to comment.
A Sun Spokesperson said: “Like all reputable media organisations, we don’t comment on sources.”
0 - Despite spending four hours & 22 minutes together on the pitch for England in total, Jamie Vardy and Wayne Rooney never created a single goalscoring chance for one another. Awkward. pic.twitter.com/qS4H1G93nN
