Shane Warne has taken to Twitter to deliver some classic Warnie charm to US actress

SHANE Warne may have retired from cricket but he hasn’t retired from the game. His latest social media activity shows that he’s up to his old tricks.

Warnie has taken to Twitter chat to a US actress and everyone is raising their eyebrows.

WARNIE is up to his old tricks and has taken to social media to seemingly flirt with US actress, AnnaLynne McCord.

The 27-year-old TV star and legendary leg spinner appear to have struck up a surprising friendship with Warnie sending the actress some well wishes and imploring her to behave herself.

It is unclear how the pair know one another but Warnie was the instigator of the public exchange and offered his support to Ms McCord, saying “good luck with your speech! You’re doing a great job, proud of you ...”

McCord has admitted to being sexually assaulted as a teenager and has bravely become an activist for awareness around the issue of sexual assault.

The show of support from the Australian cricket commentator was likely referring to a speech she is giving at California State University tomorrow as a part of campaign from nomore.org.

According to Wikipedia, Ms McCord “is known for playing vixen-type roles” which Warnie clearly enjoys as he was formerly engaged to British actress, Liz Hurely, who reprised the role of the devil in her hit movie, Bedazzled.

The pair broke up a little over a year ago with Warnie saying at the time, “I’m just a man doing the best I possibly can.”

Never one to rest on his laurels, it wasn’t long before Warnie was seen canoodling with Playboy model, Emma Scott. The 31-year-old model and TV personality embarked on a four month relationship with the former cricketer until they broke things off in September, last year.

Never one to shy away from the spotlight, Warnie announced the break up on Twitter.

Now he has used the public forum to reach out to Ms McCord.

While the 45-year-old Warnie is 18 years her senior, Ms McCord has recently broken up with 44-year-old, Prison Break star Dominic Purcell after a three year relationship.
