Public kiss confirms Nick Kyrgios’ romance with new flame

A public display of affection up the road from Bondi Beach tells us all we need to know about how Nick Kyrgios has moved on from his ex.

Nick Kyrgios has confirmed rumours he has a new lady in his life, spotted on a romantic outing in Sydney on Thursday night.

The Aussie tennis star was photographed leaving well-known Italian restaurant Totti’s in Bondi alongside Costeen Hatzi, the pair sharing a kiss before they headed back to their hotel together.

The public display of affection confirms Kyrgios and Hatzi — who the Daily Mail reports graduated from university this year with a degree in psychological science — are indeed an item, following murmurs the tennis player had moved on following a messy split with ex-girlfriend Chiara Passari.

Last weekend Kyrgios and Hatzi were in the crowd at an NBL game to watch the Sydney Kings play the Illawarra Hawks. Hatzi shared a clip of the basketball game from her perfect vantage point on Instagram and even the NBL’s official social media account spruiked the pair’s appearance.

Earlier this month Kyrgios’ former flame Passari opened up on their tumultuous 18-month relationship, describing his behaviour as “manipulative”.

After returning from overseas in October, Kyrgios and Passari were put in separate rooms at their quarantine hotel when South Australia police were alerted to a verbal argument between them.

It came after Passari shared an image of Kyrgios in bed with a “naked girl” on Instagram and accused him of cheating on her.

Kyrgios and Passari started dating in the middle of last year, just three months after Kyrgios split from Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya. Passari has since claimed Kyrgios “love-bombed” her in the early stages of their relationship.

“He love-bombed me for the first three months,” she told The Daily Telegraph. Passari also described Kyrgios as “manipulative” and said he was looking for cracks in their relationship “to use against me”.

Passari said she had received very little negative feedback from people after publicly sharing the details of her relationship woes with Kyrgios on social media.

“Surprisingly not from social media at all,” she said. “Of course a message here and there saying I am … doing it all for attention and followers.

“Other than that, people really did feel for the situation.

“Why would I want to have attention on me from a story that makes me look weak and walked all over as I kept forgiving him and going back. It’s not for attention, it’s for awareness.”
