Michael Clarke and Pip Edwards are officially an item

Former Aussie cricket captain Michael Clarke is officially dating fashion designer Pip Edwards after his high-profile split with ex Kyly Boldy.

Michael Clarke has moved on after his split with ex-wife Kyly and is now dating fashion designer Pip Edwards.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported the former Australian cricket captain confirmed his relationship to Edwards, saying they are keeping their romance “low key” because of their children.

The publication reports Clarke and Edwards were spotted holding hands while walking in Rose Bay in Sydney’s eastern suburbs last week.

The pair were also snapped cosying up to each other during a recent dinner at Society Pizza in Bondi.

Rugby league journalist Phil Rothfield alluded to the new woman in Clarke’s life during a segment on the Big Sports Breakfast radio program on Monday, which the cricket legend co-hosts with NRL great Laurie Daley.

Rothfield mentioned he put Clarke in the “spotted” section of his newspaper column, but didn’t include who he was spotted with.

“You know what? I did the right thing by him, I didn’t mention your female company at the table,” Rothfield said as part of their lighthearted chat.

Clarke laughed, responding: “Why not? Listen buddy, you can always mention my female company. How dare you leave that out.”

Clarke and Kyly confirmed in February they were separating after seven years of marriage.

“After living apart for some time, we have made the difficult decision to ­separate as a couple, amicably,” a joint statement read.

“With the greatest of respect for each other, we’ve come to the ­mutual conclusion that this is the best course for us to take while committed to the co-parenting of our daughter.”

Clarke and Kyly have four-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee together and the famous batsman regularly posts updates on Instagram featuring his little bundle of joy.

The couple had reportedly split months before making the announcement public, as Clarke moved out of their Vaucluse home and into his Bondi apartment.

Clarke initially denied

Edwards has known Clarke for years.

There were rumours when Clarke and Kyly parted ways the cricket star was cosying up with Edwards, the co-founder of sportswear label P.E Nation alongside Claire Tregoning.

Clarke has reportedly worked as a consultant for Edwards’ business, but he and the 40-year-old fashionista both denied being romantically involved after news of his split with Boldy broke.

“Pip and Michael have been friends for 12 years,” Edwards’ representative told The Daily Telegraph in February. “He is currently consulting with P.E. Nation.”

At the same time, Clarke’s representative Sasha Armstrong said: “Michael has known Pip for over a decade and is currently working with both Pip and Claire on a special project with P.E Nation.”

Edwards has a 12-year-old son, Justice Maximus, from a former relationship with fashion designer Dan Single.
